EGI Technical Forum 2010
The EGI Technical Forum 2010 will be held in central Amsterdam at Beurs van Berlage between 14-17th September 2010 in partnership with the BiG Grid (Dutch NGI) project. It will be the first major event within the EGI community and will bring together European distributed computing projects and their collaborators in academia and businesses, from around Europe and around the world. In doing so it will provide an ideal venue for, the developers, end-users, resource providers and decision makers involved in these projects to meet and discuss the continued transition to a sustainable production grid infrastructure for Europe.
On the event website you can find details on how to register, the draft technical programme, a call for demonstrations and poster abstracts, hotel details and a contact point for booking a stand in the exhibition area. You'll be able to take advantage of early bird prices until the end of July. |

The PL-Grid project will be promoted at the exhibition stand held during the CGW'10 in Krakow, Poland, on 11-13 October 2010.
The article with information about PL-Grid was published in the first issue of the EGI-InSPIRE project's "Inspired" newsletter.
PL-Grid was advertised during the HPC 2010 workshop, in Cetraro, Italy, on 21-25 June 2010.
The Zeus cluster was 161st in the June 2010 edition of the TOP500 list. This cluster is part of the all-Poland grid infrastructure being created in the framework of the PL-Grid project.
Poland - as the first country in Europe - has initiated functioning of the National Grid Initiative (NGI).
