PL-Grid project at the 7th Conference on Computer Methods and Systems
The 7th Conference on Computer Methods and Systems was held on 26-27.11.2009, in Krakow, Poland. The conference included three workshops: 1) Workshop on Mathematical Modelling, Control and Optimization, 2) Workshop on Knowledge Engineering and Intelligent Systems, 3) Workshop on Scientific and Engineering Computing. The event was an opportunity to get familiar with the PL-Grid project's offer.
The PL-Grid project was present at the exhibition held during the 7th Conference on Computer Methods and Systems in Krakow, on 26-27 November 2009.
All interested people, participating in the event, could visit our booth, where they had an opportunity to get some information on the Project. At the PL-Grid booth various promotional materials were also available.
During the conference the following talk - concerning the Project - was given:
- "Polish Infrastructure for Supporting Computational Science in the European Research Space" (Jacek Kitowski, Kazimierz Wiatr, Marian Bubak, Michał Turała, Lukasz Dutka and Zofia Mosurska from the Institute of Computer Science and ACC CYFRONET AGH)

PL-Grid was advertised during the HPC 2010 workshop, in Cetraro, Italy, on 21-25 June 2010.
The Zeus cluster was 161st in the June 2010 edition of the TOP500 list. This cluster is part of the all-Poland grid infrastructure being created in the framework of the PL-Grid project.
In the end of February 2010 the proceedings of the Cracow Grid Workshop 2009 (CGW'09) have been published by ACC CYFRONET AGH. Among many papers, five concerned the work performed within the PL-Grid project.
