PL-Grid is a project, which aims at establishing a country-wide Polish Grid
infrastructure for scientists, enabling in the future wide international collaboration. In the framework of the Project we create and deploy the tools, which enable to design and run the scientific applications on the powerful computational resources by use of the distributed data sources.
We encourage the scientists and research groups representing various fields of science - interested in using the PL-Grid infrastructure for computations and large scale simulations - to take advantage of the Project's offer.

 Grid infrastructure
Access to high-performance clusters (target: about 5000 procesors - 215 Tflops) and large storage resources (target: 2500 TB).

Many applications from the various fields of science (biology, quantum chemistry, physics as well as numerical computations and simulation) made available in the framework of the PL-Grid infrastructure.

The set of advanced programs, which could be used e.g. to organization of computational experiments, visualization of applications' results and grid resources management.

Technical support (helpdesk) at adaptation of tools and development and running of scientific applications on the PL-Grid computational resources.

Training and course materials. Organization of training on request.

conferences as well as other promotional activities. Creation and distribution of disseminative materials.
